Spanish independent power producer (IPP) Opdenergy has signed a 12-year power purchase agreement (PPA) for a 108MW solar PV project in Chile.
Located in Marchigüe in the O’Higgins region of Chile, the 108MW Alcones solar PV plant will supply a total volume of 1.68TWh of electricity over the course of the PPA, or 140GWh a year. Opdenergy said the buyer of the electricity is an international utility without disclosing its name.
