On December 2nd, Guibao Technology and Sichuan Pengshan Economic Development Zone formally signed a contract to implement the project with an annual output of 50,000 tons of silicon carbon anode materials and special binders for lithium batteries. It is planned to invest in a new construction of 10,000 tons/year silicon carbon anode materials for lithium batteries, 40,000 tons/year special adhesive production base and lithium battery material R&D center project. Guibao Technology believes that silicon-carbon anode materials can greatly increase the energy density of lithium batteries due to their large specific capacity, which is the development direction of a new generation of anode materials. In 2019, Sibao built a 50-ton/year pilot production line for silicon-carbon anode materials. The products passed the appraisal and reached the international advanced level.
